OPERATING LICENSES

All alarm companies that design, install, maintain, monitor, inspect, or respond to alarm systems are required to be licensed by the state in which they operate. For an alarm company to seek licensure, they must have a Qualifying Agent who has met strict requirements and passed intensive licensing examinations.

Alarm companies must also make sure that each applicant, partner, or corporate officer meet the following requirements:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Undergo a criminal history background check through the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
  • Have committed no offense or violation of the Alarm Company Act that would be grounds for license suspension or revocation

To provide the best service to our customers, CRV Surveillance diligently maintains these essential industry standards and are licensed to operate in the following states: (Please note, not all of the states we operate in require a license.)
