Project Coordinator – Birmingham, Alabama

We are looking for a motivated and meticulous Project Coordinator who is interested in physical building security and has a passion to learn and grow every day. You will assist and report to the Project Manager and work on meaningful projects that protect our customer’s employees, property, and assets. You will coordinate all aspects of security installation projects from start to finish and be responsible for following up on all projects to make sure our customers are happy with our work.

  • Schedule Technicians and ensure jobs are prioritized/meet client completion dates
  • Work with Project Manager on client requirements and completion dates
  • Drive service process for all orders from start to finish
  • Work closely with Project Managers and field leadership
  • Coordinate with PMs to both schedule and track arrivals and departures to/from customer sites
  • Review all new orders and ensure Client Contact Information, Scope of Work, and Traditional/T&M Allowances are assigned correctly
  • Provide clear and consistent status updates to the end-user
  • Include and manage changes to Service Cope by accessing the impact of changes on triggering product to procurement, releasing through delivery, and assuring resources are scheduled
  • Own equipment-related tasks specific to submitting for ordering and working with logistics and ICM for parts disposition tracking
  • Create and document action items and notes in CRM and escalate as needed when action items are not met
  • Maintain and track installation schedule using CRM or other company scheduling tools/systems for assigned orders
  • Assist in follow up with labor force via phone, email, etc. on client expectations
  • Sort through service tickets to ensure a resolution code is included
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred but not required
  • 1 – 2 years of professional office experience preferred
  • 1 – 2 years of Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills with respect to listening, writing, and speaking
  • Strong problem-solving skills – we are looking for someone who has the ability to analyze issues, make sound decisions, and overcome problems

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred but not required
  • One (1) to Two (2) years of professional office experience preferred
  • Experience in the Security Industry is a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
